Your Role And Responsibilities

As a DevOps Developer: Cloud, you will enable a continuous integration environment and work on leading-edge projects to develop IBM Cloud Solutions. You will ensure delivery pipeline from dev/test, staging, and production and perform A/B testing. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Design and Implement Tools: Design and implement tools for automated deployment and monitoring of multiple environments, utilizing programming tools/languages such as python, react, node, Jenkins, Maven, Ant, Gradle, Chef, Puppet, Docker, and UrbanCode.
• Automate and Optimize: Automate, measure, and optimize system performance and processes to ensure efficient delivery pipeline from dev/test, staging, and production.
• Develop Cloud Solutions: Develop IBM Cloud Solutions using multi-cloud environments (public, private & hybrid), as well as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
• Ensure Network Resiliency: Understand and implement concepts around Software Defined Networks (SDN), Network Resiliency, Container Applications using Kubernetes, Content Delivery, and development for competing services such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Deliver Leading-Edge Projects: Work on leading-edge projects to develop IBM Cloud Solutions, ensuring delivery pipeline from dev/test, staging, and production and performing A/B testing.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Exposure to Cloud Development: Experience working with cloud-based technologies, including multi-cloud environments, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
• Programming Skills: Familiarity with programming tools/languages such as python, react, node, Jenkins, Maven, Ant, Gradle, Chef, Puppet, Docker, and UrbanCode.
• Automation and Optimization: Exposure to automating, measuring, and optimizing system performance and processes in a DevOps environment.
• Cloud Solution Development: Experience working with IBM Cloud Solutions, including designing and implementing tools for automated deployment and monitoring of multiple environments.
• Containerization and Orchestration: Understanding of container applications using Kubernetes and software-defined networks (SDN).
  
  

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Familiarity with Competing Services: Exposure to developing for competing services such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, including understanding their offerings and capabilities.
• Knowledge of Network Resiliency: Understanding of concepts around Software Defined Networks (SDN), Network Resiliency, and Content Delivery in a cloud environment.
• Experience with Containerization: Exposure to container applications using Kubernetes, including designing and implementing containerized solutions.
