We are building India’s first completely sovereign, 100% offline AI ecosystem—designing custom AI silicon, physical on-premise servers, and localized Enterprise LLMs.
As we scale our hardware-to-software architecture, we are looking for an elite Cloud Specialist. Ironically, we need someone who understands the public cloud perfectly—so you can help our enterprise clients migrate off it and onto our highly secure, bare-metal infrastructure.
The Role
You will not just be managing cloud instances; you will be the architectural bridge for our enterprise clients (in Defense, BFSI, and Pharma) transitioning from legacy public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) to Aetheris’s localized, air-gapped AI environments. You will split your time between our Gurugram and Bengaluru offices, collaborating directly with our core engineering and hardware deployment teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Deconstruction & Repatriation: Audit complex enterprise cloud architectures and design seamless migration strategies to shift heavy AI/ML workloads onto Aetheris bare-metal servers.
- Hybrid & Edge Networking: Architect secure, low-latency network bridges between client legacy systems and our localized offline LLM environments without compromising air-gapped security protocols.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Deploy and maintain robust, scalable infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible) customized for bare-metal and localized Kubernetes (K8s/K3s) clusters.
- Dual-Hub Leadership: Act as the technical infrastructure liaison between our R&D hub in Bengaluru and our enterprise deployment hub in Gurugram, ensuring operational synergy.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all network transitions and storage solutions strictly comply with DPDP, HIPAA, and the Indian Official Secrets Act.
What We Are Looking For:
- 6+ years of hardcore infrastructure experience, with deep expertise in leading public clouds (AWS/Azure) AND bare-metal Linux environments.
- Mastery over complex networking concepts (BGP, VPC routing, Direct Connect, VPNs) and air-gapped system architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerizing heavy workloads for edge deployment.
- A "hardware-aware" mindset—understanding how software interacts with GPUs, custom silicon, and physical storage.
- High mobility and willingness to operate dynamically between our Gurugram and Bengaluru sites.
