We’re seeking a senior, customer‑facing Windows & Hybrid Infrastructure expert to lead the design, stability, security, and modernization of enterprise‑scale Windows Server, Hyper‑V, and Azure hybrid platforms.
This is a hands‑on technical leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in complex, mission‑critical environments and enjoys being the trusted authority during architecture decisions and high‑severity incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the design, deployment, migration, and troubleshooting of Windows Server, Hyper‑V, and Windows Failover Clustering environments
- Act as the technical authority and escalation point for complex incidents, including root cause analysis (RCA) and critical situations
- Lead high availability and disaster recovery designs, including Hyper‑V clustering, CSVs, quorum models, and replication
- Drive virtualization and modernization programs, including VMware to Hyper‑V / Azure / Azure Stack HCI migrations
- Partner directly with customers to deliver secure, resilient, and compliant infrastructure solutions
- Advise on and implement security and compliance controls, including Defender, Firewall, BitLocker, Credential Guard, and Device Guard
- Support and optimize Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) and clustered storage architectures
- Design and support Azure hybrid scenarios, leveraging Azure Arc, Monitor, Backup, Site Recovery, and Defender for Cloud
- Lead technical workshops, knowledge sessions, and mentor engineers
- Proactively identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities across platforms
What You Bring:
- 13+ years of enterprise experience in Windows infrastructure, consulting, or support
- Strong expertise in Windows Server, Hyper‑V, Failover Clustering, and performance troubleshooting
- Experience operating in mission‑critical, regulated environments
- Solid understanding of Azure hybrid infrastructure
- Confident, clear communicator with strong customer‑facing presence
- Windows Hybrid and / or Azure certifications (preferred)
