Job Description

• Deep proficiency in C/Python/go programming languages, with proven ability to design high-performance systems.

• Deep knowledge of Linux and Unix Kernel internals, system programming and Storage technologies.

• Advanced expertise in Docker/Kubernetes, capable of architecting and scaling microservice ecosystems and containerized applications.

• Strong knowledge of AI/ML principles and hands-on experience applying AI technologies in real‑world systems.

• Expertise in unit testing, test frameworks, and establishing robust quality assurance practices.

• Skilled in profiling and optimizing applications for memory, CPU, and cost efficiency at scale.

• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket), driving automation and reliability in deployment workflows.

• Proven track record in troubleshooting complex issues, both internally and in customer environments.

• Strong customer communication skills.

• Ability to design and evolve scalable, maintainable, and resilient architectures for enterprise-grade applications.

• Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing engineering talent, raising team capability.

• Excellent communication skills, with ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain software components with a focus on storage performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Lead investigation and resolution of complex kernel/storage-related issues, including debugging and root-cause analysis.

• Drive customer escalation resolution and communication.

• Drive improvements in performance, latency, throughput, and stability through profiling, tuning, and architecture changes.

• Own and deliver large projects or processes that can span outside the immediate job area.

• Provide technical guidance and act as a domain expert for storage technologies and systems-level engineering.

• Partner with adjacent teams to define technical requirements and deliver solutions that improve customer outcomes.

Required Experience/Skills

• 10-14 years relevant industry experience

• Experience in team leadership

Education 

• Bachelors or Masters degree in software engineering
