Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Security Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru South. The Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring security measures for cloud-based systems. Daily tasks include identifying and mitigating security risks, developing security controls, managing cloud architecture, and ensuring compliance with security policies. The role also involves conducting regular security audits, responding to incidents, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to safeguard cloud environments.
Qualifications
- Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of security frameworks and protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Experience with compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001
- Proficiency in programming or scripting languages like Python, Java, or PowerShell
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in incident response and risk assessment
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to design and implement secure cloud architecture and environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS/Azure Cloud Security Specialty are highly desirable
- Prior work experience in the banking, healthcare, or manufacturing sectors is an advantage
