While on the payroll of Portway India, you will be managing and leading the security initiatives for Borderline Genius, the technology arm of Portway. Borderline Genius is a North American SaaS product company focused on simplifying customs clearance with innovative and latest technology solutions. It is proudly owned by Portway International which is reputed company in customs brokerage BPO business with over 18 years of industry expertise and a 100% customer retention rate, we are trusted leaders in cross-border operations.
Responsibilities
We are looking for experienced Security Champion who has security first mindset and lead security initiatives within a product, engineering, DevOps, platform teams and IT department and acts as the bridge between the company leadership and and delivery teams. The role focuses on integrating security into day-to-day engineering activities, reducing vulnerabilities early in the SDLC, and improving the organization’s overall security culture.
Risk identification and prioritization
• Security testing awareness (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning)
• Monitoring C Incident Response: Manage security monitoring tools (e.g., SIEM, GuardDuty), analyze logs, and respond to incidents.
• Help align engineering practices with organizational security policies
• Support compliance initiatives (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, etc.)
• Vulnerability Management: Perform regular penetration testing and vulnerability scans to mitigate risks.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate training and knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
• Monitor and assess security incidents, ensuring timely response and resolution.
Qualifications
Overall experience should be min 5 years in security domain.
• Should have 5 years of hands on working experience working in clouds like Azure, AWS or hybrid
• Experience in supporting securing business applications and cloud workloads across public, private or cloud infrastructures for more than 4 years
• Experience with Agent-based Deployment (Installation/Implement)
• Strong understanding of IAM, network security (VPC, Security Groups), and container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience on support with security applications solutions such as Adaptive Shield, Wiz, Prisma Cloud Compute would be an added advantage
• Experience with some common security toolsets and technologies (SIEM, vulnerability management, Firewalls/Security groups)
Certifications: Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Security Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional
