Job Description:
Job Summary
Cloud Security Engineer with expertise in Rapid7 InsightCloudSec to strengthen our cloud security posture across multi-cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing InsightCloudSec for continuous compliance, governance, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure Rapid7 InsightCloudSec across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
- Monitor and maintain Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM).
- Develop and enforce automated governance policies for cloud resources.
- Perform risk assessments, identify misconfigurations, and remediate security gaps.
- Integrate InsightCloudSec with other security tools and workflows.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams to ensure secure design and implementation.
- Generate compliance reports for frameworks like CIS, NIST, ISO, SOC 2.
- Provide technical guidance and training on InsightCloudSec best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Rapid7 InsightCloudSec (minimum 1–2 years).
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP cloud services.
- Familiarity with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in Linux and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Understanding of IAM, network security, and cloud compliance standards.
- Experience with REST APIs and automation workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
