Summary:
As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role includes strategizing and executing the migration of applications and data, ensuring that the solutions implemented are scalable and optimized for performance. The position requires coordinating with various stakeholders to align migration efforts with business goals, while continuously monitoring progress and addressing any challenges that arise during the migration process. The engineer plays a key role in enabling organizations to leverage both private and public cloud technologies to achieve advanced operational capabilities and future-ready business outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of migration strategies that align with organizational objectives.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration processes.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in TIBCO Administration.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Google Cloud Compute Services.
- Strong knowledge of cloud migration methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and application migration.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of cloud-based solutions.
- Familiarity with integration of on-premises systems with cloud platforms.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in TIBCO Administration.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
