Job Title: Cloud & Kubernetes Engineer (Azure) (5 Years Experience minimum)
Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled Cloud & Kubernetes Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on managing Kubernetes environments, implementing CI/CD and GitOps practices, enhancing observability and reliability, and driving automation and security best practices across development and production environments.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure and application platforms in Microsoft Azure, including managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments and supporting networking, storage, and security configurations
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications in Kubernetes, including scaling, ingress, secrets, certificates, upgrades, and cluster health
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions and implement GitOps-based deployments using Argo CD to automate build, test, and release processes
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability using Datadog; create dashboards and actionable alerts, perform incident response and root cause analysis, and continuously improve reliability, performance, and uptime
- Collaborate with developers to containerize applications, improve release processes, enforce operational and security best practices, and standardize environments across development, staging, and production
- Participate in production support and on-call rotations, document systems and procedures, and identify opportunities to automate manual operational tasks
- Define and track service reliability metrics (SLIs/SLOs), capacity planning, and performance tuning of services and infrastructure
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management practices to ensure repeatable and auditable environments
- Support security initiatives including secrets management, certificate rotation, vulnerability remediation, and least-privilege access across cloud and Kubernetes environments
