Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cloud Kitchen Manager based in South Delhi. The Cloud Kitchen Manager will oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including production planning, inventory control, order fulfillment, and coordination with delivery partners and aggregators. The role involves managing kitchen staff schedules, training team members on standard operating procedures, food safety, and hygiene, and ensuring consistent quality and timely dispatch of orders. The Cloud Kitchen Manager will monitor operational costs, minimize wastage, and support menu planning in collaboration with culinary and marketing teams to optimize performance across multiple brands or outlets. The role also includes tracking key performance metrics, resolving customer and delivery issues, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
Qualifications
- Strong operational management abilities, including experience with kitchen workflows, order management systems, and coordination with delivery platforms (e.g., Swiggy, Zomato, Uber Eats or similar).
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and compliance requirements, with the ability to implement and enforce standard operating procedures consistently.
- Team leadership skills, including staff supervision, scheduling, training, and performance management in a fast-paced food service or cloud kitchen environment.
- Inventory and cost management capabilities, including demand forecasting, vendor coordination, stock control, and waste reduction.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and multitasking skills, with the ability to stay calm under pressure and handle peak-order periods effectively.
- Strong marketing skills.
- Comfort with basic technology tools such as POS systems, delivery dashboards, spreadsheets, and reporting tools for tracking KPIs and performance metrics.
- Previous experience in a cloud kitchen, QSR, or high-volume restaurant environment is preferred; experience managing multiple brands from a single location is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable, or equivalent relevant experience.
