Role Description
We are hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with 3+ years of experience. This role offers Remote / Hybrid work flexibility.
As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments that support enterprise applications and services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring system performance, managing servers and networks, implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies, and ensuring infrastructure reliability.
You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to streamline deployments, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and enhance security and compliance across systems. Additionally, you will contribute to automation initiatives, maintain documentation, and continuously improve infrastructure processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability
- Manage servers, storage, and networking components
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and security best practices
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and performance issues
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams for optimized deployments
- Contribute to automation using Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Maintain documentation for configurations and processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or system engineering roles
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Solid system administration skills (Linux/Windows, user access management, performance tuning)
- Good networking knowledge (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs)
- Understanding of network and cloud security best practices
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting infrastructure issues
- Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation (preferred)
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, CCNA) are a plus
