About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer specialized in AWS Cloud Services to join our dynamic team at TCS. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and automation tools. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on AWS, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance. The Cloud Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable architectures, automate deployment processes, and monitor cloud environments to maintain high availability and reliability. Qualifications
Candidates should have a minimum of 15 years of full-time education. Relevant professional experience should range from 8 to 12 years in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS services. Candidates below 8 years of experience will not be considered. The ideal applicant will have proven expertise in cloud infrastructure, scripting, and automation, along with a strong understanding of security and compliance standards. Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are preferred. Additionally, experience with enterprise-level server management, both Windows and Red Hat Linux, is essential, especially within cloud environments. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative setting are also required.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including services like EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, and IAM to meet business requirements.
- Configure and manage AWS networking services such as VPC, Control Tower, and AWS Organizations, ensuring secure and scalable network architecture.
- Automate deployment and configuration processes using scripting tools like Terraform, Ansible, Python, and AWS CLI.
- Monitor cloud environments using tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Datadog, PagerDuty, and SIEM integrations to ensure high availability and security.
- Implement security best practices, including managing AWS Security services, KMS, AWS Backup, and AWS Certificate Manager (ACM).
- Participate in service management, release management, and change management processes, utilizing tools such as Jenkins CI/CD, Packer, and Puppet.
- Maintain enterprise-level Windows and Red Hat Linux servers, ensuring they are optimized for cloud deployment and management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Stay updated with the latest AWS features, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve cloud infrastructure.
