Lead Cloud Engineer
Location: Noida (Onsite)
Qualification: BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience: 10 Years Total, 5 Years Relevant
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Lead Cloud Engineer with a development background and over 5 years of specialized experience in AWS and building cloud components.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop cloud-agnostic control tower/landing zone platforms.
- Build Terraform-based, reusable cloud-native Infrastructure as Code (IaC) platforms.
- Roll out continuous observability and set up best-in-class security postures across cloud providers.
- Develop tools and codebases for platform engineering initiatives.
- Participate in Cloud and DevOps architecture discussions.
- Mentor junior resources on coding best practices as an individual contributor.
- Deliver infrastructure platforms across various projects.
- Document processes and best practices to ensure team-wide knowledge sharing.
Must-Have Skills:
- Experience: 10 years total experience, with 5 years in cloud architecture and infrastructure engineering (building/implementing environments, not just deploying applications).
- Cloud & DevOps: Expertise in AWS and DevOps tools.
- IaC: Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or CloudFormation.
- Containers: Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes (self-managed and Fargate), and load balancers (NLB, ALB).
- AWS Specifics: Hands-on experience with AWS Control Tower (minimum 2 implementations), AWS CLI, SDK (boto3), Networking (VPC, TGW, Peering), and Security (IAM, KMS, WAF).
- CI/CD & Tools: Experience with Jenkins, CircleCI, Nexus, or JFrog.
- Monitoring: Proficiency in CloudWatch, CloudTrail, ELK, Splunk, Datadog, or Prometheus.
- Scripting & OS: Strong skills in Python, Bash, or Shell scripting and Linux OS administration (troubleshooting CPU, memory, and network).
- Data Services: Understanding of RDS (MySQL, Postgres), MongoDB, and DocumentDB.
- Architecture: Ability to design HA/DR solutions as per SLAs/RTO/RPO and define container-based topology using well-architected frameworks.
