Role OverviewWe are looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will be responsible for automation, monitoring, security, and ensuring high availability of cloud systems while supporting compliance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools
- Monitor system performance, scalability, and cloud costs
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Configure and manage monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Grafana, and Prometheus
- Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and improve system reliability
- Implement cloud security best practices, IAM policies, and backup strategies
- Support compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and CIS
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams for smooth deployments
- Maintain technical documentation and operational reports
Requirements- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms
- Experience with Linux systems, networking, and IAM
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools
- Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or CloudWatch
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
- Proactive mindset with a focus on automation and continuous improvement
Preferred Skills- AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or GDPR compliance standards
- Familiarity with SIEM tools, FinOps, or cloud cost optimization
- Experience in cloud security or compliance-focused environments
