About The Role
We are seeking experienced Solution Architects and Consultants to join our dynamic team at Infosys, focusing on cloud migration and modernization initiatives primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role involves working closely with clients to understand their technical and business needs, designing scalable and secure cloud solutions, and leading end-to-end implementation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cloud-native technologies, microservices architecture, and application modernization strategies. They should possess excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including clients, internal teams, and partners. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience for the Consultant/Senior Consultant role, and at least 10 years for the Lead/Principal Consultant position. A strong background in solution architecture, design, and technology delivery, with specific expertise in GCP platform services, is essential. Certifications in GCP are highly preferred. Candidates should have hands-on experience developing and deploying solutions using microservices, Kubernetes, serverless computing, and cloud databases such as RDBMS and NoSQL. Knowledge of application development frameworks like Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, .NET, .NET Core, or Python is required. Familiarity with DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins, GitOps, and containerization technologies like Docker and GKE is advantageous. The ability to analyze complex technical scenarios, propose effective solutions, and communicate technical concepts clearly is critical. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and adapting to evolving industry standards.
Responsibilities
For the Consultant/Senior Consultant role, responsibilities include understanding and analyzing client requirements, refactoring and migrating legacy systems to cloud environments, specifically GCP, and developing end-to-end features while resolving implementation challenges. The candidate must collaborate with stakeholders to identify issues, propose solutions, and ensure successful project delivery. Contributing to thought leadership within the technology domain and maintaining effective communication with clients and internal teams are key aspects of this role. Additionally, the role involves building cloud-ready applications, designing RESTful APIs, and leveraging cloud SDKs for microservices development. Experience in migrating on-premises workloads to cloud compute services such as VMs, PaaS, containers, or serverless options is essential. Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment is a plus.
For the Lead/Principal Consultant position, responsibilities expand to defining strategic cloud migration and modernization roadmaps based on client maturity and requirements. This includes creating comprehensive solution architectures, integrating Infosys offerings, and participating in sales pursuits to develop compelling proposals. The role involves leading large-scale microservices implementations, applying best practices, and ensuring solutions adhere to quality standards through code reviews and monitoring tools. The candidate will also contribute to industry thought leadership, collaborate with alliance partners, and own the end-to-end solution design. Strong communication skills are vital for articulating complex solutions to diverse audiences, including C-level executives. The role requires a deep understanding of cloud-native frameworks, data solutions, and architecture patterns, with the capacity to guide clients through their digital transformation journey effectively.
