About The Role
We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Solution Architects specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role involves designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based solutions that enable our clients to modernize and migrate their workloads effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a strategic mindset, and the ability to lead complex projects from conception to deployment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative cloud transformation initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the digital evolution of our clients’ businesses.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years dedicated to solution architecture and technology delivery on GCP. A strong foundation in cloud-native technologies, microservices architecture, and application modernization is essential. Certifications such as GCP Professional Cloud Architect or equivalent are preferred. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to analyze complex technical requirements, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience working in diverse team environments and managing multiple stakeholders is highly valued. For senior roles, at least 10 years of experience with a focus on cloud solutions, including a minimum of 3 years in solution architecture, is required. Hands-on experience with GCP services, containerization, DevSecOps pipelines, and cloud migration strategies will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Understand and analyze client requirements, translating business needs into scalable cloud solutions on GCP.
- Refactor existing systems for workload migration and modernization to cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Lead end-to-end feature development, resolving challenges faced during implementation, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners to identify issues, develop solutions, and drive project success.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to thought leadership by staying updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices, sharing insights within the organization.
- Design and architect cloud-native applications, leveraging microservices, containers, serverless computing, and other GCP services.
- Develop and review code, ensure adherence to quality standards, and implement DevSecOps practices using tools like Jenkins, GitOps, and container orchestration platforms such as GKE and Docker.
- Assist in defining cloud migration strategies, including application refactoring, data migration, and infrastructure deployment.
- Engage in client discussions, providing strategic advice and technical expertise to align solutions with business goals.
