About The Role
We are seeking a talented IT Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud platforms, Intune device management, and Database administration. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our IT infrastructure, supporting cloud services, and ensuring the security and integrity of our data systems. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to a fast-paced environment, working on diverse projects that require technical expertise and innovative problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure management, cloud services, and database administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud platform, including deployment, management, and security.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune for device and application management.
- Strong knowledge of database systems such as SQL Server and MySQL, including installation, configuration, and security best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and technical support skills.
- Familiarity with network protocols, security measures, and backup/recovery procedures.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or similar are a plus.
Responsibilities
- System Administration: Assist in managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and endpoints to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Cloud Management: Support the deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of cloud services, with a focus on Microsoft Azure, to ensure scalable and secure cloud operations.
- Database Management: Install, configure, and maintain databases such as SQL Server and MySQL, ensuring data integrity, security, and high availability.
- Technical Support: Provide prompt and effective technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, minimizing downtime and disruption.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor system performance metrics and implement necessary optimizations to enhance efficiency and responsiveness.
- Backup and Recovery: Execute routine backups and test recovery procedures to safeguard critical data against loss or system failure.
- Security Management: Implement security protocols and measures to protect IT systems from threats, including firewalls, antivirus, and access controls.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate future maintenance and audits.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to support ongoing IT projects, upgrades, and initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging IT trends, tools, and best practices to recommend and implement improvements in IT services and infrastructure.
