Cloud Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and services that support business-critical applications and platforms. The role focuses on cloud architecture, automation, scalability, security, and operational reliability across modern cloud environments.
This position requires strong technical expertise in cloud technologies, infrastructure management, and automation, along with the ability to build scalable and resilient systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments
- Implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Monitor cloud environments to ensure performance, availability, and cost optimization
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to support application deployment and infrastructure needs
- Manage cloud networking, storage, compute resources, and security configurations
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery processes
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions
- Maintain technical documentation for cloud architecture, deployments, and operational procedures

Required Skills
- Strong experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM Templates
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and identity management
- Experience with Linux system administration and scripting
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- 3–6 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or system administration roles
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Engineer, or equivalent certifications
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Exposure to security best practices and compliance frameworks
