About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and technically proficient Cloud & AI Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with proven experience in migrating enterprise workloads from on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting, implementing, troubleshooting, and optimizing comprehensive cloud environments from start to finish. This is not a purely advisory or design-only position; it requires active engagement in migration projects, ensuring seamless transition and operational excellence. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced delivery environments, demonstrates confidence working directly at client sites, and takes full ownership of project outcomes from day one.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional experience with a focus on cloud infrastructure, migration projects, and enterprise solutions.
- Microsoft Azure certification at the Associate or Expert level (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-500, AZ-700, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Hands-on experience delivering at least 2–3 end-to-end on-premises to Azure migration projects, including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, or re-architecting.
- Deep expertise in Azure networking components such as VNets, subnets, NSGs, UDRs, peering, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, and Azure Firewall.
- Knowledge of Azure security solutions including Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender for Endpoint, Sentinel, Azure Policy, and Key Vault.
- Practical experience with Azure Active Directory / Entra ID, hybrid identity configurations, Conditional Access, and Microsoft Intune.
- Proficiency in designing and testing high availability and disaster recovery architectures using Azure Site Recovery, Availability Zones, and backup strategies.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like ARM, Bicep, or Terraform, and scripting languages such as PowerShell and Azure CLI.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute comprehensive on-premises to Azure migration projects, including assessment, planning, migration, and optimization phases across IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid scenarios.
- Perform hands-on deployment of Azure infrastructure components including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Application Gateways, and VPN/ExpressRoute configurations.
- Design and implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies utilizing Azure Site Recovery, Availability Zones, geo-redundant storage, and failover clusters.
- Configure and manage Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), including hybrid identity solutions, Conditional Access policies, role-based access control, privileged identity management, and multi-factor authentication.
- Deploy and manage security solutions such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft Sentinel to ensure robust security posture management.
- Administer Microsoft Intune for device management, compliance enforcement, application deployment, and endpoint security across organizational devices.
- Architect and implement scalable Azure networking solutions, including hub-spoke topologies, Private Endpoints, DNS resolution, peering, and network segmentation.
- Monitor cloud environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and establish proactive alerting, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms.
- Engage directly with client stakeholders through technical workshops, migration plan presentations, and post-migration operational support.
- Document architecture decisions, create runbooks, SOPs, and migration playbooks to facilitate knowledge transfer and future reference.
