About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer specializing in AWS Cloud Services to join our dynamic team at TCS. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions that align with our clients' business needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in AWS services, infrastructure management, and automation tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, secure, and resilient cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex cloud projects, leverage cutting-edge AWS technologies, and contribute to the digital transformation initiatives of our clients.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in IT, with at least 5 years dedicated to cloud engineering and AWS services. A full-time education qualification of 15 years is mandatory, with a relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent are highly desirable. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in AWS infrastructure, networking, security, scripting, and automation tools. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Proficiently work with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, IAM, KMS, and others to develop robust cloud architectures.
- Implement automation scripts using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and AWS CLI to streamline deployment and management processes.
- Monitor cloud environments using tools like Datadog, PagerDuty, CloudWatch, and SIEM integrations to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Manage and optimize cloud security policies, including control policies within AWS Organizations and Service Control Policies.
- Coordinate with development and operations teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other tooling platforms.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices related to cloud security, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Participate in service management, release, and change management processes to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and stakeholders.
