About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer specialized in AWS Cloud Services to join our dynamic team at TCS. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS. This role requires a deep understanding of AWS services, infrastructure management, security protocols, and automation tools. The Cloud Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and optimization of cloud environments, supporting our clients' digital initiatives and ensuring high availability, security, and performance of cloud-based applications and services.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in IT, with at least 5 years dedicated to cloud engineering and AWS platform management. A full-time education qualification of 15 years is mandatory, with relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or similar certifications being highly preferred. Candidates should have a strong background in scripting, automation, and infrastructure as code, along with hands-on experience in enterprise-level cloud environments. Proficiency in both Windows and Linux server administration is required, with a preference for those experienced within cloud platforms. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure solutions, including services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, and related AWS services.
- Implement and manage AWS security protocols, including IAM policies, KMS, AWS Security Hub, and compliance standards to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Configure and optimize AWS network and infrastructure components, including Control Tower, AWS Organizations, and Service Control Policies for effective governance.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and AWS CLI to streamline deployment and operational processes.
- Monitor cloud environments utilizing tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Datadog, PagerDuty, and integrate with SIEM solutions for security and operational insights.
- Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans using AWS Backup and related services.
- Participate in service management, release, and change management processes, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Packer, and related tooling for continuous integration and deployment.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
