Role Overview
As a Cloud Engagement Manager, you will be at the forefront of Ankercloud’s business growth, responsible for managing strategic client relationships, partnering with hyperscalers, and driving cloud solution adoption across industries. This is a quota-carrying, customer-facing role ideal for professionals who blend sales acumen, consultative thinking, and a strong grasp of cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, solutioning (with pre-sales), proposal, negotiation, and closure.
Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing strategic accounts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients, cloud partners (AWS), and internal technical teams.
Collaborate with hyperscaler partner teams to design and execute joint GTM plans, account strategies, and co-branded initiatives.
Understand client pain points, identify opportunities for transformation, and position Ankercloud’s cloud, DevOps, AI/ML, security, and data solutions effectively.
Contribute to demand generation activities, including events, webinars, and solution showcases.
Track pipeline progress and maintain accurate forecasting using CRM systems.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and advocate client success internally for long-term retention and growth.
What We’re Looking For
10 years of overall experience and 4+ years of relevant experience in cloud consulting, enterprise sales, or partner management roles, ideally within the AWS ecosystem.
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets in the B2B cloud or technology space.
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, SaaS/PaaS models, and emerging technologies (AI/ML, Big Data, Security).
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to engage C-level stakeholders and influence technology decisions.
Self-motivated and adaptable to work in a fast-paced, cross-cultural, startup-like environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Preferred Experience
Prior experience working with cloud hyperscalers (AWS) or their partner ecosystem.
Exposure to multiple industries such as BFSI, retail, manufacturing, or SaaS.
Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce, Zoho, or Pipedrive.
