About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Cloud & DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, streamlining deployments, and supporting production environments. This role requires strong expertise in AWS, Linux administration, CI/CD, and database management.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage, monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, ALB)
· Ensure high availability, performance, and security of production systems
· Troubleshoot infrastructure, server, and deployment issues in live environments
· Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins
· Manage PostgreSQL databases including backup, restoration, and basic performance tuning
· Write and execute SQL queries for maintenance and troubleshooting tasks
· Configure and manage NGINX / Apache web servers
· Automate recurring operational tasks using Bash / Python scripting
· Manage SSL certificates, domains, DNS, and network configurations
· Implement security best practices including IAM policies, firewall rules, patching, and access controls
· Collaborate closely with development teams for deployments, releases, and environment setup
· Maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems for proactive issue resolution
· Support infrastructure cost optimization and capacity planning initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
· Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, ALB)
· Good knowledge of Linux administration (Ubuntu / Amazon Linux)
· Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins
· Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL administration
· Ability to write and troubleshoot basic SQL queries
· Experience with NGINX / Apache web servers
· Basic scripting skills in Bash / Python
· Good understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, VPC, Load Balancing, Security Groups
Preferred Qualifications
· AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect / Developer / SysOps)
· Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
· Exposure to Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
· Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes
· Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus / Grafana
· Knowledge of CloudFront, CDN, WAF configurations
· Understanding of backup strategies, disaster recovery, and high-availability systems
· Experience managing scalable production environments

· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

· Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
