Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
Build and implement RESTful APIs following industry best practices and standards.
Develop and deploy applications in containerized environments using Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
Integrate microservices with legacy systems, enterprise back-end systems, or core platforms.
Implement event-driven architecture and asynchronous communication where required.
Ensure secure connectivity between cloud and on-premise systems using mTLS, certificates, and secure network configurations.
Participate in application design discussions and architecture planning for scalable and resilient systems.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and deployment issues in development and production environments.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, QA, and Infrastructure teams to deliver solutions.
Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to security standards.
Maintain technical documentation for APIs, microservices, and deployment processes.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Must Have Skills:
4 to 6 years of overall IT experience in software development.
Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot microservices development.
Experience with Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift platforms.
Good understanding of API design, REST standards, and event-driven architecture.
Experience in integrating applications with legacy or enterprise back-end systems (mainframe or packaged core systems).
Experience in deploying and operating applications on containerized environments (Kubernetes / OpenShift).
Knowledge of implementing secure connectivity using mTLS, certificates, and network segmentation between cloud and on-premise systems.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Good to Have Skills:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Knowledge of service mesh (Istio / OpenShift Service Mesh).
Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Understanding of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm).
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
