Roles and Responsibilities:
- Define and implement scalable data architecture strategies to support business growth
- Lead the design and development of enterprise-wide data architecture frameworks and models
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective data solutions
- Ensure data architecture aligns with organizational goals, compliance standards, and industry best practices
- Lead architectural reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise standards
- Design robust data pipelines, storage solutions, and integration frameworks
- Provide technical leadership in data modeling, metadata management, and master data management
- Drive innovation in data management, integration, and storage technologies
- Identify risks and develop mitigation plans related to data architecture and infrastructure
- Oversee data governance and quality initiatives to maintain data integrity and security
- Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to enhance data architecture capabilities
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure seamless data strategy execution
- Drive continuous improvement by assessing current systems and recommending enhancements
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making to influence data-driven outcomes
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal policies
- Mentor and guide junior architects and technical teams
Skills Required:
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role in cloud environments (preferably Azure)
- Strong expertise in data architecture, data modeling, and data engineering principles
- Hands-on experience with Azure data services and Microsoft Fabric
- Experience designing and implementing scalable data platforms and pipelines
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and security best practices
- Experience with metadata management and master data management (MDM)
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions
- Strong leadership and mentoring experience for technical teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
