Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable cloud data architecture on Microsoft Azure.
- Architect modern data platforms including data lakes, lakehouse, and data warehouse solutions.
- Develop and maintain enterprise data models to support healthcare analytics and reporting.
- Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related Azure services.
- Build large-scale data processing pipelines using Azure Databricks and Spark frameworks.
- Implement analytics platforms using Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Design secure storage and data lake solutions using Azure Data Lake Storage.
- Integrate data from EHR, EMR, clinical systems, and healthcare applications.
- Implement data governance, lineage, cataloging, and quality frameworks.
- Define and enforce data security, access control, encryption, and PHI protection mechanisms.
- Enable advanced analytics and BI using Microsoft Power BI.
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, data scientists, and healthcare SMEs to deliver data solutions.
- Provide architecture guidance, best practices, and technical leadership across data initiatives.
- Conduct architecture reviews and performance optimization for enterprise data platforms.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Azure cloud data architecture and services.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling (dimensional, star schema, or data vault).
- Experience with SQL, Python, or Spark-based data processing.
- Experience designing batch and real-time data pipelines.
- Experience implementing data lakehouse and enterprise data platforms.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
- Knowledge of data security and compliance frameworks in healthcare.
