Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Pune District for a Cloud Architect. The Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable cloud-based solutions, managing infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration of systems, and overseeing the architecture of software solutions. The role also involves collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to align technical strategies with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures.
- Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premise to cloud platforms.
- Define cloud governance, security, compliance, and cost optimization strategies.
- Architect containerized and microservices-based solutions.
- Establish Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards and DevOps practices.
- Design disaster recovery and high availability strategies.
- Review existing systems and provide modernization roadmaps.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, security, and operations teams.
- Conduct architecture reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Mentor engineering teams on cloud technologies and architecture patterns.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience
- 10-13 years of IT experience with at least 3–5 years in cloud architecture.
- Proven experience in designing enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
Cloud Platforms (At least one, preferably multi-cloud)
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Technical Expertise
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates)
- Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Cloud networking (VPC, subnets, load balancers, DNS)
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Monitoring & Observability (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Security best practices and compliance frameworks
- Cost optimization and FinOps principles
- API-driven architectures and microservices
- Serverless architectures
Programming/Scripting
- Python / Java / Bash (at least one strong language)
