Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cloud Architect role based in Udaipur/Ahmedabad. The Cloud Architect will design and implement secure, scalable, and reliable cloud architectures on Microsoft and other leading cloud platforms, aligning technical solutions with business objectives. Daily responsibilities include assessing existing infrastructure, defining cloud migration and modernization strategies, and creating architecture blueprints and documentation. The role involves collaborating with consulting, development, and operations teams to integrate applications, data, and services, as well as guiding performance optimization, security, and cost management. The Cloud Architect will also provide technical leadership, participate in client workshops, contribute to best practices, and support pre-sales solution design as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Master's degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, enterprise solution design, infrastructure modernization, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Proven experience supporting both presales and delivery functions for enterprise cloud engagements.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services, cloud governance, security, networking, identity management, and enterprise architecture patterns.
- Experience designing and implementing Azure Landing Zones and enterprise-scale cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, Zero Trust architecture, identity and access management, and security best practices.
- Experience with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and cloud operations.
- Knowledge of High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), backup strategies, business continuity planning, and RPO/RTO design.
- Understanding FinOps practices, cloud cost management, monitoring, and optimization strategies.
- Exposure to AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is highly desirable.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, and relevant AWS certifications.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and consulting skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to influence technical and business stakeholders while balancing customer requirements, delivery feasibility, and commercial objectives.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring teams and providing technical leadership across cross-functional environments.
