Job Title: Cloud and Data Centre Solution Architect
Experience: 8+ years

Coforge is hiring a senior Data Center Solution Architect with deep expertise across backup, storage, virtualization (VMware), and networking, specializing in Managed Services Solutions for global enterprise clients across the UK, US, and EU regions. The role is presales-led with delivery oversight — owning end-to-end DC solution design, RFP/RFI response leadership, transition/transformation planning, and steady-state managed services pricing and operating models.
Objectives:
- Lead presales pursuits for DC and Managed Services deals — RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, solution defense, BoM/BoQ, T&T (Transition & Transformation) plans, and TCO/ROI models.
- Design Managed Services operating models — service catalog, SLAs/OLAs, RACI, shift coverage (24x7 NOC/SOC), L1/L2/L3 staffing, ITIL-aligned processes.
- Build hybrid and on-prem reference architectures covering VMware vSphere/vSAN/NSX, hyperconverged infrastructure (Nutanix, Dell VxRail, Cisco HyperFlex), and traditional 3-tier stacks.
- Architect enterprise storage (Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, Pure Storage, IBM) — SAN/NAS, replication, tiering, capacity planning.
- Architect enterprise backup & DR (Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity, NetBackup, Veritas) — RPO/RTO design, immutable backups, cyber-recovery vaults, BCP/DR runbooks.
- Define automation and observability stacks — ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, Splunk, Dynatrace, Ansible, Terraform.
- Lead hybrid cloud migration conversations (DC ↔ AWS/Azure/GCP), colocation strategies, and DC exit programs.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Define automation and observability stacks — ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, Splunk, Dynatrace, Ansible, Terraform.
- Lead hybrid cloud migration conversations (DC ↔ AWS/Azure/GCP), colocation strategies, and DC exit programs.
- Collaborate with delivery teams for handover from presales to execution; provide solution oversight during transition and steady state.
- Contribute to capability building — reusable accelerators, service offerings, pricing models, and internal DC/MS competency.
