Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure. The role involves working with modern cloud platforms, automating deployments, and ensuring high availability and security of systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy cloud-based solutions on platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Manage cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, and networking
- Automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Monitor systems and ensure performance, reliability, and cost optimization
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Maintain security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2–5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps
- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Familiarity with networking concepts (VPC, DNS, load balancing)
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator)
- Experience with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda)
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Exposure to security and compliance standards
Work Setup
- Fully remote (India-based candidates preferred)
- Flexible working hours with overlap for team collaboration
- Occasional on-call responsibilities
