Role Description The Close Protection Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Borivali, responsible for ensuring the personal safety and security of designated individuals associated with PDPL. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, planning secure routes and schedules, and maintaining constant awareness of the environment to identify and mitigate potential threats. The role involves escorting principals during travel and on-site activities, coordinating with local security and law enforcement when required, and implementing appropriate security protocols at company locations and external venues. The Close Protection Officer will also monitor access control, respond to incidents, prepare security reports, and participate in ongoing training and drills to maintain readiness and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- ****Special Forces background only.****
- Strong background in Physical Security and Security operations, with experience in personal protection or corporate security roles.
- Practical exposure to Law Enforcement or Police environments, or prior service in armed forces, paramilitary, or government security agencies.
- Ability to deliver and participate in Training related to threat awareness, emergency response, and protection procedures.
- Excellent situational awareness, judgment, and decision-making under pressure, with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Good physical fitness and stamina appropriate for close protection duties, including standing, patrolling, and responding quickly to incidents.
- Basic understanding of security technology (CCTV, access control systems, communication equipment) and incident reporting practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work discreetly and maintain confidentiality.
- Relevant certifications in security, close protection, or safety management are an advantage; prior close protection experience is highly preferred.
