Account Executive

Remote (U.S.)


About the Role

We’re hiring an Account Executive to grow Clipboard’s footprint in the healthcare staffing space. You’ll be the face of Clipboard in your assigned territory—visiting prospective long-term care facilities, generating relationships with decision-makers, and showing them how we solve their hardest staffing problems.

You’ll be our boots on the ground in a local market. You’re expected to deeply understand the nursing home, assisted living, and long-term care facility landscape and own the customer relationships you develop. You’ll move fast, run experiments, and report back insights to the broader sales team to help us scale what works. This is a rare opportunity to not just sell—but to shape how we grow.


What You’ll Do

  • Visit skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), assisted living communities, and long-term care centers to pitch Clipboard’s value proposition and convert them into customers
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new B2B accounts (typically Directors of Nursing or Facility Administrators)
  • Own your regional market: understand submarkets, know the key players, and build lasting relationships that give you an edge
  • Tailor your pitch to each customer and share feedback patterns with sales leadership
  • Think like a Market Owner — build a territory growth plan and take full ownership of your sales results
  • Move quickly, experiment with outreach strategies, and test creative tactics to unlock new customer segments
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM and document learnings to inform sales strategy


You Might Be a Great Fit If You:

  • Have 1–5 years of professional experience (in any industry) and are motivated to get in front of customers and close deals
  • Thrive in a field sales role — enjoy face-to-face selling, cold outreach, and direct customer interaction
  • Are comfortable driving and spending most of your week (4+ days) visiting facilities in your territory
  • Succeed in a high-performance, goal-driven sales environment and adapt quickly when strategies shift
  • Are naturally curious, resilient when hearing “no,” and skilled at solving problems in real time
  • Communicate clearly, follow through on your commitments, and take full ownership of your sales outcomes

Compensation

Estimated annual on-target earnings: $160,000 - $200,000 USD, including base salary ranging from $80,000 - $100,000 USD. Final offer depends on experience, location, qualifications, and interview performance.
