Role: Clinical SAS Programmer ( Looking for Bangalore and Kochi local candidates.)
Location: Bangalore and Kochi - 2 days a week in the office.
Role Description: This full-time Clinical SAS Programmer role is an on-site position based in Greater London. The Clinical SAS Programmer will develop, validate, and maintain SAS programs to support the analysis and reporting of clinical trial data, including tables, listings, and figures for regulatory submissions and internal study reports. Responsibilities include working closely with biostatisticians and data management teams to interpret statistical analysis plans, ensure data quality, and implement standardized programming practices. The role involves creating and maintaining documentation, including programming specifications and validation reports, adhering to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company SOPs. The Clinical SAS Programmer will also support cross-functional teams, troubleshoot data and programming issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of programming workflows and tools.
Qualifications
- 4 to 12 plus Statistical Programming skills with proficiency in SAS and familiarity with CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM).
- Robust Analytical Skills and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex clinical data and support statistical analyses.
- Experience in Data Management, including handling clinical trial datasets, data cleaning, and integration from multiple sources.
- Solid Programming background and understanding of Statistics as applied to clinical trials and regulatory submissions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
- Prior experience as a Clinical SAS Programmer or similar role within pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO environments.
- Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, regulatory expectations (e.g., FDA, EMA), and clinical development processes.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site in Greater London.
