Role Description The Clinical Research Faculty role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolhapur. The faculty member will design and deliver lectures, seminars, and practical sessions across clinical research topics such as clinical trial phases, pharmacovigilance, clinical data management, regulatory requirements, and related domains. Responsibilities include developing curricula and course materials, supervising student projects and dissertations, mentoring learners, and supporting their professional development. The role also involves contributing to institutional research initiatives, staying current with international guidelines and industry trends, and participating in academic administration such as assessments, accreditation activities, and program reviews. Collaboration with colleagues to enhance teaching quality and maintain strong academic standards is expected.
Qualifications
- Advanced academic background in clinical research or related fields (e.g., Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, Biotechnology), with a preference for candidates holding a PhD or equivalent research-focused degree.
- Demonstrated expertise in areas such as early drug development, Phase II–III clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, clinical data management, pre- and post-approval services, and toxicity studies.
- Strong skills in academic teaching, curriculum development, student mentoring, and assessment, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse learners.
- Ability to integrate practical case studies, regulatory guidelines, and industry best practices into teaching, including familiarity with eTMF, medical writing, and medical coding.
- Experience in clinical research practice or collaborations with industry or research organizations, and a record of scholarly activities such as publications, conference presentations, or research projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, strong organizational and time-management abilities, and a commitment to maintaining ethical and professional standards.
- Comfort working in an on-site academic environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and using digital tools and learning platforms to support teaching and research.
