Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Clinical Biology – Sales & Application Specialist (Microbiology) to drive sales and provide technical application support for microbiology diagnostic products, instruments, reagents, and consumables. The role involves customer engagement, product demonstrations, training, troubleshooting, and business development across hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, and research institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell microbiology diagnostic solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, installations, and customer training.
- Provide application support and troubleshoot customer issues.
- Build and maintain relationships with laboratory professionals and key stakeholders.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and generate new business opportunities.
- Support evaluations, trials, seminars, and scientific events.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Microbiology, Clinical Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in microbiology diagnostics, applications, or technical sales.
- Strong knowledge of clinical microbiology workflows and laboratory practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer management skills.
Preferred
- Experience with microbiology instruments, culture media, identification systems, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) solutions.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
