About the role:
At PB Health, the Clinical Head, Preventive & Digital Health heads the Program Design (PD) team. The PD is the nerve center of our digital health ecosystem. We don’t just build apps; we design evidence-based clinical interventions.
As the Clinical Head, you will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of our digital therapies from initial clinical design & pilot testing to full-scale implementation & iterative optimization; oversee business planning for new or existing offerings; leverage clinical data to produce actionable evidence & manage the day-to-day operations of the telemedicine practice at PB Health.
Your goal is clear: Reduce the total cost of care & measurably improve clinical outcomes across a spectrum of chronic and metabolic conditions.
Core Responsibilities
1. Strategic Therapy Design & Execution
- Lead the design of digital therapy protocols for chronic diseases, ensuring they are evidence-based and patient-centric.
- Oversee clinical pilots, analyze real-world data, and rapidly iterate on program design to ensure maximum efficacy before full-scale rollouts.
- Ensure collateral, clinical guidelines, and tech integrations are delivered on schedule.
2. Stakeholder Leadership & Collaboration
- Act as the clinical voice in leadership meetings, presenting research-backed strategies and program performance data to the C-suite.
- Partner with Product & Tech to build outcome-driven dashboards; collaborate with Marketing to translate complex medical concepts into engaging member awareness campaigns.
- Manage relationships with external medical experts and internal content teams to ensure all program materials are factually accurate and reproducible.
3. Team & Operational Excellence
- Lead and scale a high-performing team of PD Associates, aligning their KPIs with PB Health’s overarching growth and clinical goals.
- Provide strategic direction to our Health Coaches to optimize member engagement and health outcomes.
- Design the future organizational structure of the PD vertical as PB Health expands into new disease areas.
4. Business Planning
- Participate in setting the strategic direction with the business, product, and technology leadership to amplify the program's reach, capabilities & effectiveness.
- Oversee business planning for new digital health & patient support offerings for pharmaceutical or insurance clients.
- Connect long-term value capture (clinical improvement and risk reduction) to business impact (revenue and patient retention) in every clinical solution.
5. Clinical Research
- Build on the data foundations to collect robust clinical & engagement data.
- Generate insights to improve the product offering & translate data to scientific evidence that can be used to support KOL-related activities & future publications.
6. Telemedicine
- Lead & scale the telemedicine offering at PB Health focussed on preventive care & chronic disease management, & all other primary/secondary care services presently available & planned for the future.
- Design & implement any changes to the telemedicine service in collaboration with clinical leaders & product teams.
Who You Are?
- You hold a Medical Degree (UG/PG). Deep knowledge of metabolic health is essential.
- You have a proven track record in Product Management or Management Consulting within the healthcare space. You speak both "Doctor" & "Developer."
- You don’t just look at spreadsheets; you understand how to build data models that track clinical outcomes and ROI.
- You have experience leading clinical publications or research initiatives; you value scientific rigour.
- You are as comfortable moderating an expert webinar as you are reviewing a technical sprint plan.
