Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Clinical Biochemist located in Chennai. The Clinical Biochemist will carry out biochemical testing, analyze laboratory results, and ensure quality control within the clinical pathology lab. Responsibilities also include maintaining laboratory equipment, supporting research activities, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide accurate clinical diagnoses and treatment recommendations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Laboratory Skills, including the handling of clinical samples and use of analytical equipment
- Experience with Quality Control processes and adherence to safety and accreditation standards
- Strong Analytical Skills and critical thinking ability for interpreting complex laboratory data
- Solid foundation in Chemistry and its application in clinical biochemistry
- Research abilities, including data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Clinical Biochemistry, or a closely related field
- Practical experience in a clinical or diagnostic laboratory is highly desirable
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to follow detailed protocols
