Manager of Engagement, Forests, People, Climate (FPC)

The Manager of Engagement for Forests, People, Climate (FPC) (the "Manager") will play a key role in fostering inclusive, transparent, and trust-based engagement with the FPC community of regrantors, grantee partners, advisors, and other stakeholders. Reporting to the Director of Engagement, the Manager will support a range of engagement activities, with a strong focus on building and sustaining governance systems and strategies coordination processes, engagement strategies, community convenings, and project management approaches that underpin FPC. This is an opportunity to help build relationships that are vital to FPC's success, working in partnership with field leaders and funders alike to advance shared goals for equity, climate justice, and forest protection.

The Climate and Land Use Alliance (CLUA) is a collaborative of foundations seeking to realize the potential of forests and land use to mitigate climate change, benefit people, and protect the environment. The CLUA member foundations are the ClimateWorks Foundation, the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, the Ford Foundation, Good Energies Foundation, and Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies also awards grants in alignment with the CLUA strategy. By bringing together our resources and diverse expertise, CLUA supports policies, practices, and partnerships that halt and reverse forest loss, advance sustainable land use and development, and secure the rights and livelihoods of Indigenous and forest communities.
