Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Client Services Representative role based in Chennai. The Client Services Representative will support merchants throughout the onboarding process, assist with setting up QR payment solutions and soundbox devices, and help them navigate the transaction dashboard. The role includes responding to merchant inquiries via phone, chat, and email, resolving issues related to payments, settlements, and device usage, and ensuring timely follow-up until closure. The representative will track and document customer interactions, escalate complex cases when needed, and share feedback with internal teams to improve products and services. This role also involves educating merchants on best practices, promoting self-service resources, and contributing to high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
- Strong Client Services and Customer Service skills, with experience supporting clients or merchants in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication in English and local languages as needed.
- Focus on Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to handle complaints, manage expectations, and build long-term relationships.
- Basic understanding of Finance concepts related to digital payments, settlements, and transaction reconciliation.
- Ability to learn and explain fintech products and dashboards, with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfort working on-site in Chennai, with flexibility to work shifts or extended hours when required.
- Prior experience in fintech, banking, or payments support is an advantage.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
