About the Role
Unilight Insurance Brokers is looking for an experienced Client Servicing & Retention Manager to
manage and grow relationships with corporate clients across General Insurance lines. The role involves end-to-end servicing of client accounts, policy renewals, insurer coordination, risk advisory, premium negotiations, and ensuring seamless policy administration.
This position is ideal for professionals from insurance broking or general insurance backgrounds who possess strong client management skills and a sound understanding of Property, Engineering, Marine, Liability, and Miscellaneous insurance products.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Manage a portfolio of corporate clients and ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Handle end-to-end policy renewals, servicing, endorsements, and documentation.
- Coordinate with insurers and underwriters to obtain competitive quotations, negotiate terms, and secure optimal coverage.
- Advise clients on risk exposures, insurance coverage, and policy structuring.
- Build strong relationships with insurance companies, underwriters, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure timely issuance of policies, endorsements, and renewal notices.
- Maintain complete compliance with IRDAI regulations and internal processes.
- Generate MIS reports and maintain accurate client servicing records.
- Stay updated on market developments, product enhancements, policy wordings, and
underwriting trends.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 3–8 years of experience in Insurance Broking or General Insurance.
- Strong knowledge of Property, Engineering, Marine, Liability, and Miscellaneous Insurance.
- Experience in client servicing, renewals, retention, and insurer coordination.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Graduate/Postgraduate from a recognized university.
