RealVal is a specialized financial services firm providing outsourced CFO, Controller, and financial advisory services exclusively to US-based real estate investment companies. We work with multifamily, SFR portfolios, private equity, self-storage, mobile home parks, retail, mixed-use, and mid-size real estate firms.
We are seeking an experienced, client-facing Fractional CFO / Controller to manage the full financial operations for multiple US real estate clients. This senior role involves financial reporting, investor reporting, budgeting & forecasting, cash flow management, debt oversight, deal support, and strategic financial guidance.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee full-cycle accounting under US GAAP across multiple entities & SPVs
- Prepare property-level and portfolio-level financial statements & investor reports
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow for assets and funds
- Support acquisitions, dispositions, and capital markets activities
- Provide financial dashboards, KPIs, and actionable insights to clients
Software Skills We’re Looking For:
- QuickBooks / Sage Intacct
- Excel / Advanced Financial Modeling
- Familiarity with fund accounting tools is a plus
