Job details:
We help Indians bring home the pensions they left behind in the UK.
Hundreds of thousands of Indians worked in Britain and came back. Most left a workplace pension sitting there. Most haven't thought about it in years, don't know what it's worth, and have no idea they can do anything about it.
Your job is to find those people, have a conversation good enough that they want to know more, and put a meeting in an Advisor's calendar.
This is not a dial-count job. Our prospect list is small and specific. A conversation handled badly isn't a lost meeting, it's a person we can never approach again. We would rather you had ten good conversations a day than fifty rushed ones — and the role is designed and measured that way.
About us
Stellar Fortune has been advising on cross-border pension transfers, investments and wealth management since 2013. We've looked after more than 200 client families. We're now building the team to do considerably more of it, and this is one of the first hires in that build. You'd be joining early, and it will feel like it.
What you'll actually do
- Work through around 100 accounts a day across LinkedIn, phone, email and WhatsApp, using Notion as your CRM
- Have roughly ten real conversations a day, and book three qualified meetings a week
- Ask the questions that establish whether someone genuinely has a UK pension worth talking about
- Keep the CRM immaculate — every field updated, every conversation noted, the same day
- Run the confirmation sequence so meetings actually happen: calendar invite, WhatsApp reminders, same-day call
- Write a short handover brief so the Advisor walks into the meeting knowing exactly who they're meeting
Who tends to be good at this
We care less about your job title than about whether you've held real conversations with people about decisions that mattered to them. People who do well here often come from:
- Overseas education or immigration consulting. You already talk to Indian families about the UK and Australia. You already run long, document-heavy processes with anxious people. That is most of this job.
- NRI banking, forex or remittance. You're already comfortable talking to people about money crossing borders.
- Consultative financial services inside sales, wealth or insurance. Provided you sell by asking questions rather than by pressure.
- Anything at all, if you're genuinely good on the phone with people twice your age. We have no degree requirement.
If you're returning to work after a career break, we'd like to hear from you. What you can do matters more here than an unbroken CV.
What we ask for
- 3–6 years in a role with substantial direct contact with customers or clients
- Genuinely strong spoken English — you'll be talking to people who lived and worked in the UK
- Real discipline with a CRM. This role does not work without it
- The honesty to say "I don't know, the Advisor will answer that" instead of guessing. This matters to us more than almost anything else
What we offer
- ₹5.5–6.5 lakhs fixed, plus ₹1–2 lakhs performance incentive. Total ₹6.5–8.5 LPA, and up to ₹10 LPA total for an exceptional candidate. We're spelling the split out because plenty of financial services ads quote a big number that turns out to be mostly commission. This isn't that. Comparable roles advertise ₹3–6 LPA and we've decided to pay properly, because the quality of this conversation determines the quality of the business.
- A real career path. This role progresses to Associate Advisor and then to Advisor. Advisors earn a share of the revenue they generate, and total earnings at that level run to several multiples of the starting package. The criteria for each step are written down and published internally, so you always know exactly what you need to demonstrate to move up.
- One month of structured training, then an hour of coaching and role play every single morning. You'll be trained by the founder, not handed a deck.
- Company-funded certification — NISM, IIBF, CFP and CISI as you progress.
Where you'll work
BHIVE Platinum Plus, Phoenix Asia Towers, next to Mall of Asia, Hebbal, North Bengaluru.
We're in BHIVE's flagship North Bengaluru campus — their highest workspace tier, and their first Platinum Plus property in the city. Practically, that means high-speed WiFi throughout, proper meeting and conference rooms, a fitness centre, lounges and cafés in The Great Hall, 24x7 tea and coffee, and both two-wheeler and four-wheeler parking. Mall of Asia is right there for lunch, and the upcoming Jakkur Cross metro station is about eight minutes away.
It's a co-working campus rather than our own floor. We think that's a plus at our size.
This is a five-day in-office role, and we're being upfront about the reason: we train by sitting next to each other and listening to each other's calls. That doesn't happen over video, and in your first year it's the single biggest factor in how fast you progress.
