Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and motivated Business Development Intern to support our sales and growth initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in B2B business development, client research, and professional communication.The intern will play a key role in identifying potential clients, initiating outreach, and supporting the sales team in building new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Research
- Identify potential clients through LinkedIn, online research, business directories, and industry databases
- Research companies to understand their services, size, and potential business needs
- Build and maintain a structured database of qualified leads
Outreach & Communication
- Initiate contact with prospects via email, LinkedIn, and other professional platforms
- Share company information and introduce Qualy5’s services to prospective clients
- Follow up with leads and maintain consistent communication
Meeting & Sales Support
- Coordinate meetings between interested prospects and the senior business team
- Assist in preparing basic presentations, proposals, or company profiles when required
- Maintain records of conversations, responses, and next steps
Market & Competitor Research
- Analyze market trends and identify industries where Qualy5’s services can add value
- Track competitor offerings and business development strategies
Reporting & Tracking
- Maintain accurate records of leads, outreach efforts, and responses
- Share weekly progress reports with the reporting manager
Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable using LinkedIn and online platforms for professional outreach
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets for data tracking
- Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
- Willingness to learn about B2B sales and business consulting
