CynextGen is a full-service digital and creative agency delivering brand-focused social media, SEO, influencer, and growth solutions. As we expand our portfolio of brand partnerships, we are looking for a revenue-driven professional to lead new client acquisition in the social media vertical.
Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, approaching, and closing new social media and brand marketing clients. This is a pure growth role focused on revenue generation, relationship building, and independent deal closure.
This position requires a self-driven individual who can prospect, pitch, negotiate, and convert clients without constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Client Identification & Prospecting
- Identify potential brands requiring social media and digital marketing services.
- Research industries, decision-makers, and growth opportunities.
- Build a structured pipeline of qualified prospects.
Outreach & Meeting Management
- Initiate conversations through LinkedIn, email, calls, and networking.
- Schedule and conduct discovery meetings independently.
- Understand client objectives and position CynextGen’s solutions effectively.
Proposal & Closing
- Develop customized proposals in collaboration with strategy teams.
- Present service offerings confidently and professionally.
- Negotiate commercials and close deals independently.
- Ensure smooth handover to execution teams post-closure.
Revenue & Target Management
- Own monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Maintain pipeline accuracy and forecasting.
- Track conversion ratios and optimize outreach strategies.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitors and market trends.
- Identify new industry segments for expansion.
- Provide insights to leadership for service positioning.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in business development or sales within a digital or creative agency.
- Proven track record of acquiring new clients independently.
- Strong understanding of social media marketing services.
- Ability to handle client meetings, negotiations, and closures independently.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a clear revenue-driven mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling to mid to large-scale brands.
- Existing network of brand decision-makers or marketing heads.
- Exposure to influencer marketing, SEO, or integrated digital campaigns.
- Experience using CRM tools for pipeline management.
- International client exposure is an advantage.
