About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to lead strategic client engagements and manage a team delivering impactful agritech solutions across enterprise and agricultural partners. This role combines client relationship management, agritech domain expertise, strategic program execution, and team leadership to drive growth, adoption, and long-term partnerships within the agriculture ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Build strategic relationships with senior management of key clients, ensuring satisfaction, strategic alignment, and successful execution of program goals
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of account managers and executives. Foster a high-performance culture, ensure effective resource allocation, and support professional development within the team.
- Strategic Program Development: Collaborate with clients to design and implement agritech solutions and engagement strategies that improve operational efficiency, participation, supply chain visibility.
- Project Oversight: Oversee execution of agritech projects, campaigns, and client initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, operational excellence, and measurable outcomes
- Business Growth: Identify opportunities for account expansion and contribute to revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling.
- Industry Awareness: Stay informed on trends, technologies, and competitive landscape to bring innovative ideas to clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5-8 years of experience in account management, preferably in Agritech, CRM, or digital marketing.
- Proven experience in managing external client accounts and leading teams along with stakeholder management.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with CRM systems, and campaign management tools.
- Experience in customer segmentation and lifecycle management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
