About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager - Category to join our team in Bangalore, Karnataka. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire category operations, including inventory management, product procurement, sales, and customer service. You will work closely with the Category Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive category growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage the end-to-end category operations, including inventory planning, procurement, sales, and customer service. 2. Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competition to identify opportunities for category growth and optimization. 3. Collaborate with the Category Manager to develop and implement category-specific strategies and tactics. 4. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of category initiatives. 5. Identify and resolve operational issues to ensure smooth category operations. 6. Provide support and training to the category team to enhance their skills and productivity. 7. Contribute to the overall business strategy and decision-making process.
