We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with expertise in API automation, contract testing, integration testing, and performance testing. You will work closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and robustness of our applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust API automation frameworks using TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, C or Java.
- Implement and manage contract testing strategies (e.g., Pact, Spring Cloud Contract, etc.).
- Design and execute integration tests for microservices and distributed systems.
- Perform performance testing using tools like JMeter, Gatling, or k6 to identify bottlenecks.
- Automate CI/CD testing pipelines for efficient software delivery.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate quality into the development lifecycle.
- Drive best practices for test automation and continuous testing.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as an SDET, with strong expertise in API automation.
- Hands-on experience with contract testing frameworks like Pact.
- Strong knowledge of integration testing methodologies in microservices architecture.
- Experience in performance testing with tools like JMeter, k6, or Gatling.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python for automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and service-oriented architectures.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Security testing knowledge (e.g., OWASP principles).
