Position Summary:

The Business Information Manager(BIM)serves as a bridge between business functions and IT, identifying solutions and tracking progress with technology teams. The role assesses whether a business need requires a full project cycle, can be addressed within agile sprints or call for operational enhancements.The BIM plays a key role in bridging communication across departments, coordinating with Strategic Program Owners (SPOs), and ensuring that business information and systems are aligned with organizational goals.

This is a Remote/Work from Home position reporting to Sr. Mgr. of Product & Business Analysis.

What you will do:

• Lead stakeholder meetings to define business challenges, initiatives and gather functional requirements.
• Refine problem statements and translate them into actionable user stories or system requirements for solution development.
• Collaborate with business leaders and Strategic Program Owners(SPOs) to review new project intake requests.
• Analyze and assess requests to determine if they require full project delivery, can be resolved through Agile stories, or involve process refinement.
• Evaluate solution paths and partner with scrum teams to ensure timely implementation within defined sprints.
• Coordinate and oversee implementation of new solutions and enhancements, ensuring delivery teams align solutions with business needs.
• Provide clear and timely updates on project status, risks,and outcomes to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Coordination or Business Information Management in a corporate environment.
• Product Owner, Business Analysis Certifications Preferred
• Experience in utilization of Jira, Confluence,or similar project management systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create high-quality results-driven,team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality.
• Reliable and predictable attendance.
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours and travel (up to 10%); will include some overnight travel.
• Proficient in MS Office, modern communication tools for virtual teams (i.e., MS Teams, Slack)

• Keyboarding (40-60%)

Work Environment:

100% Remote: Work environment is at home.

Compensation:

$115,000 - $125,000/yr prospectively plus 5% bonus determined by competitive market analysis and internal equity considerations. Final compensation will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and business needs.
