About The Client
Our client is a leading UK-based construction materials organisation with a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and operational excellence. Operating across multiple sites nationwide, they play a key role in supporting major infrastructure and building projects throughout the UK. They are committed to maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and teamwork, offering employees a stable and supportive working environment within a well-established industry.
Hours of work: 4 hours total per week
Shifts available: Tuesday and Fridays only, 2 hours per day, timings can be flexible
Duties And Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning duties on a busy concrete construction site
- Clean and maintain the site canteen, office areas, and welfare facilities including 2 toilets
- Sweep, mop, and clean concrete floors and surfaces to maintain site cleanliness standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Ensure welfare and communal areas remain clean, tidy, and hygienic for site staff
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and in line with health & safety procedures
- Follow all site rules and health & safety regulations at all times
- Wear required PPE including safety shoes and a high visibility vest whilst on site
- Report any hazards, damages, or maintenance concerns to management
- Work independently to complete cleaning tasks efficiently during scheduled Tuesday and Friday visits
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cleaning Operative or similar role
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns to management
