Job Skills / Requirements
Mon - Friday 4pm-8pm
$18.00/hour
The general cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of all assigned areas within the facility. This role involves performing a wide range of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, sanitary, and well-presented environment each day.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas according to company standards
- Sweep, dust, dust-mop, damp-mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, counters, and fixtures
- Wash windows and clean interior/exterior glass surfaces
- Clean desks, walls, furniture, doors, countertops, blinds, whiteboards, chalkboards, and light fixtures
- Perform spot cleaning and address spills as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and use proper cleaning methods and chemicals
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Custodial Supervisor or designated representative

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma preferred, but not required
Experience:
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience is a plus
Physical & Working Conditions
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, and pull
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Sufficient mobility to meet productivity and service expectations
